Karma Yoga Confusion
Q: How can I do some work without expecting any result from it?
A: It is the nature of the mind that it works well when it has some goal. However, when some work is done towards attaining certain goal there may be anxieties associated with the result and the work may get affected due to these anxieties. It is due to this reason that one should not bother about the result while doing work. It is not about not having goal but it is about not bothering about the outcome once the goal has been set. It is about enjoying the journey once destination has been decided. It is about being present/available once the life work based on Swadharma has been decided.

What is Attention?
Q: What is Attention?
A: Attention is the channel through which awareness/consciousness shines and gets focused on a thought wave. This channel is used by the mind to focus on something consciously/subconsciously/unconsciously. Focusing means channeling the received light from awareness/consciousness.
Is, “Theory of Everything” in Science Enough?
In science we have the knowledge becoming finer and finer. From large objects to molecules to atoms to electrons, protons, neutrons to leptons, mesons, quarks, bosons etc. to tiny strings. At this point, in my knowledge the presence of strings is not experimentally verified. However, even if it is verified, another question would come up as to from where are these strings coming up. As existing questions are answered, new questions come up without answers.
Finding ultimate truth via science looks like a mirage, the closer we go, farther it recedes.
The final answer that can be found via looking inwards is that everything is made up of consciousness. Now, if somebody asks how did consciousness come into existence, the answer is that only consciousness can ask this question as an inert thing cannot ask this question. So, the questioner himself is consciousness and the question is also taking place in consciousness. There is no question of “when” as there is nothing else but consciousness.
